About LVM Lego Club
LVM Lego Club is an informal club for kids in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade at Ada Deer (formerly called Elvehjem) Elementary School, located in Madison, Wisconsin. It was created in October 2023 by Brenna and Jeremiah Marsicek, parents of an Ada Deer student who didn't enjoy sports but loved socializing and Legos. In Lego Club, kids meet almost weekly to challenge themselves, have fun, and be with kids who share their love for building.
Meet Olivia!
LVM Lego Club has grown and evolved since then, and is now run by volunteer Olivia Buss (better known to many kids as "Kane's mom!"). Olivia is a parent to an Ada Deer student, and has been approved by the school district to volunteer in schools, which means she has had a background check completed and cleared.
We value inclusivity, supportive language, creativity, challenge, problem-solving, and socializing.
Who can join?
This club is geared toward kids who are Ada Deer Elementary School kids in grades K-5. However, we are happy to have siblings join in too, with parent participation and supervision! And if your kid loves Legos but doesn't attend Ada Deer, that's fine too!
When and where do you meet?
During the 2026-27 school year, the club will meet at Ada Deer Elementary School's library between Halloween and Spring Break, on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm. Meet ups don't occur during school breaks. Check the club calendar for scheduled meet ups!
What does it cost to participate?
Nothing! Thanks to generous donations made by family and friends of the LVM community and Bricks & Minifigs of Madison, we are able to offer this program at no cost to participants. If you'd like to support the club, donations can be made at gofundme.com/f/lvm-lego-club.
